This weekend there was a Lumiere Light Festival held across London, and I decided to check it out. The light installations were amazing, it looked really amazing and artistic against the night sky and it really made me appreciate roaming around London looking for each light installation even though it was freezing cold! Roads were also closed off so people could walk and roam around, it was really busy! The ones I saw were in Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, and Westminister Abbey. They’re amazing aren’t they! Which one do you think looks the prettiest?

Eat Tokyo
On Saturday it was our cousin Tracy’s 23rd birthday and she wanted to celebrate it at Eat Tokyo at the Holborn branch. It was a great day catching up with the girls – as it’s been a while. I’ve been wanting to go to this place for the longest time as I heard the sushi was amazing (sorry there isn’t any food pics – we were way too hungry!) but to be honest the sushi wasn’t all that, I would rate it a mere 5/10 on my sushi-o-meter! Price wise it was a tad expensive for what you get, for the more simpler sushi it was cheap but when you want the good stuff it was expensive.
We also got Tracy a small chocolate cake from Tescos so she can make a birthday wish, we hope she had a great birthday.
Sister Date
We don’t usually go out together but when we do we like to spend the whole day out. It was decided that we wanted to go shopping so we went to Oxford Circus to do some much needed clothes shopping but before that we needed to eat so we went into The Slug & Lettuce for some cheap but good food. I had a chicken, bacon and avocado salad with sweet potato fries (which may I add were absolutely amazing!) and Jess had a wrap. After eating we went shopping and later that day ended up in Wasabi for a quick but yummy dinner.
