Big Girl Coach

IMG_1762IMG_1742IMG_1780IMG_1756IMG_1758London has been looking very pretty with all the festive lights but it’s absolutely freezing, which mean having to wrap up warm with big coats and scarves.

My bag is from Coach which I am obsessed with, it’s such a beauty! It’s a very structured bag that has a lot of compartments, two of which have zips to keep your treasured items safe. It also has a long strap so you can carry it on the shoulder which is very handy when it gets a little too heavy. It caught my eye as the style reminds me of the Prada Saffiano Lux Tote (which is my dream bag <3), but at a lower cost. This bag is definitely my ‘big girl bag’, meaning it makes me look (and feel) like a big girl when I’m wearing it… bonus! It does tend to get a little heavy if you stuff it with too much which is the downside for me, heavy bags really hurt my shoulders! However this bag is too pretty to not wear, so I’ll definitely be wearing it a lot more.

I’ve also been loving this scarf I got from New Look, the pattern is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a scarf for a while so I was very chuffed when I found it. It’s really long, comfy, goes with most of my Winter coats and brings some pattern into my plain outfits so I’ve been wearing it loads!

‘Smart Casual’ Outfit

Many of my friends host dinners or events and the dress code is always ‘smart casual’. This has always been a struggle for me to interpret; sometimes I feel too smart, and sometimes I feel too casual, and standing out is not always a good feeling! This look is a combination of smart and causal, and how both can actually look very good as a mixture.

Make-up is dramatic on the eyes but also toned down with a nude colour or some lip gloss, this always makes me feel more glam when my outfit is quite casual – but not too much.

Chic Grid Trousers

IMG_1618IMG_1638IMG_1611IMG_1634It’s been a long while since the sun has popped out to say hello in London, which is why we thought it was the perfect opportunity to start snapping! The star of today’s post are these grid trousers I bought from Uniqlo (and my new little Coach, but we’ll get onto that later…). These trousers are so stylish, you can dress them up or down and they are super comfortable. By pairing these trousers with a cropped long sleeve top and heels it definitely gives the outfit some edge!

And of course, introducing my new little Coach. I got this Coach bag in an outlet in California and I’m in love with it! It’s a perfect sized bag for running errands where you only need specific things, the length is perfect, it can be worn on the shoulders or across the body and it also has a shorter chain strap if you want to switch up the style. It’s a bag I’ve been using a lot since I got it and I can really see myself using it all year round!
